· Claims Filing:
We file your insurance claims almost as soon as you get the information to us. The large majority of claims are filed electronically which can cut the time it takes for you to get paid dramatically. When that’s possible we produce and send in the claim on a standard CMS 1500.
· Verification of Insurance Benefits:
When you send us a new client’s information using the Insurance Authorization Form, we get to work and find out about deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, # of visits allowed, authorization requirements, allowable CPT codes, network status and any other important information that we might need to Get You Paid.
· Pre-Certification:
Why should you have to waste your time on hold with an insurance company when you could be catching up on session notes or clinically-related calls, instead? While we’re verifying benefits, we’ll get the initial authorization code for you if it’s needed.
· Track Authorizations:
Don’t you hate losing money because a client’s authorization has lapsed or the sessions have all been used? At Simplicity Billing Solutions, we don’t’ let that happen. Each time we file a claim for you, we check to see how many authorized sessions are left. We’ll let you know in time to submit the needed form(s). We also keep track of how many sessions a client has left even when there is no authorization required. That way, you get paid for the work you do.
· Claims Follow-up/investigation:
Unlike some billing companies, we don’t just submit the claim once and hope you get paid! We keep close watch on which claims are getting paid and which are not. We follow up with the insurance company when claims are denied inappropriately or when they do not get paid promptly. By keeping up with things, most of our clients get paid for better than 90% of their claims!
· Client Statements:
We generate and send (usually email, snail-mail when needed) client statements monthly or upon request if your clients need statements for legal, health savings accounts, or other purposes. We can bill attorneys, churches, trust funds, or other guarantors of client accounts, as needed. Clients are free to call us to check their account or their insurance coverage. We keep you in the loop by emailing you either copies of all statements or summary reports showing client balances. We make it possible for you to minimize your client accounts receivable.
