Welcome and thank you for visiting Simplicity Billing Solutions, LLC. We have some very exciting services, and a very unique way of viewing the process of billing insurance claims.
We serve solo practitioners, primarily in the greater Austin area, that are either beginning their practices or are established and just don’t want the aggravation that comes with insurance billing. Despite the hype about the many easy services different practice management programs can provide, most of these are cost prohibitive if you want to file your claims electronically. In addition, they are simply not well designed for the unique needs of the private practitioner. There are some free resources on the internet which allow you to file claims and access some policy information; however, these tend to be cumbersome and frequently don’t provide accurate or complete information for behavioral health services or alternative therapies.
Most practitioners of alternative therapies realize the necessity of being on insurance panels. Most, however; do not enjoy the reality of all the necessary work that is involved with actually collecting payment. That’s where we usually come into the picture; to increase your profitability by increasing the number of your claims getting paid.
We offer reasonable rates to do your insurance filing which allows you the freedom, time, and flexibility to do what you do best – provide service to your clients. We take the headache out of owning your own practice, but still give you a tremendous amount of control/transparency over your insurance claims. We do this by using a “Cloud” based program which allows you to track what’s going on with each claim if you choose too.

Aggravation Factor
· You won’t have to spend your time talking to insurance companies. We do this for you, unless it is a clinical issue in which case you will need to address their questions. Whenever possible, we will answer any reasonable non-clinical question that may arise.
Authorization Alerts
· One of the most common causes of rejected claims is lack of authorization. We have safeguards in place so that you get paid for your work. Our online tracking system will tell you when authorizations are nearing expiration or when you are running low on approved visits. We also keep track of yearly session limits. We get in touch when it's time to submit a reauthorization request, before you run out of sessions.
Personal Service
· Something very few billing companies offer is face to face contact. In this highly digital fast paced world, clinicians still want to meet their billing company personally. Because I work primarily with local area clinicians, I can do this for you. I’m always more than willing to accommodate a practitioner’s desire to meet and discuss the type of services they will need for their unique practice. It’s actually a lot of fun for me to meet each and every one of you in person so that, together, we can determine how to best serve your needs.
Education
· This is a crucial component to our organization. We work hard to keep you informed, as much as you want, of changes within the industry that impact your business. Oftentimes, payers will change a very important component in their policy like whether or not they require authorizations. A recent example would be Blue Cross Blue Shield’s Federal program. Historically, it has been extremely strict about needing preauthorization for behavioral health services. For the year 2011, BCBS Federal has lifted that requirement but this could easily change back in the future. We make sure you have that vital information when you need it. We believe that just because you choose not to do your own electronic claims filing doesn’t mean you don’t want to be kept abreast of changes in the policies or laws which directly affect your practice.
· We will also provide you with the information you need to begin billing insurance companies. You have the option of us doing most of the work for you (at a nominal fee), or you doing it for yourself with our assistance (free of charge). Our job is to help you succeed in every way possible, so if you need information and guidance that’s what we’re here for.
